Who we are

BrightNest Au Pair Connect is operated by Steady State Logistics LLC, a U.S. company. We are not a U.S. Department of State-designated au pair sponsor. We collect interest from host families and au pair candidates and, with your permission, refer possible matches to a designated sponsor.

What we collect

• Host families: parent name, email, phone, city, state and ZIP, citizenship status, household answers, children's ages and whether a child has special needs (no children's names), schedule, stipend and preferences.
• Candidates: name, email or WeChat ID, phone, date of birth, province and city, education, English level, languages, childcare experience, driving and swimming, availability and the introduction you write.
• Technical: a salted one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop abuse.

We do not collect passport numbers, ID numbers, health records, photos or payment details. We do not accept registrations from anyone under 18.

How we use it

To check basic program rules (22 CFR 62.31), suggest matches, contact you, and — only if you ticked the sharing box — send your profile to our licensed partner agency and designated U.S. sponsor. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare's servers outside mainland China (Cloudflare D1). Information about candidates in mainland China is transferred to and stored outside China only with your separate consent, as required by China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).

How long we keep it

• Requests that don't meet the program rules: deleted 90 days after the last update.
• Closed requests: deleted 1 year after closing.
• Open requests with no activity: deleted after 18 months.

Your choices

Use your reference and private code on the My request page to see your status, download a copy of your data, or delete it at any time. You can withdraw consent by deleting your data. For anything else, email us.

Children

Families describe children by age only. We never ask for children's names, photos or schools.

收集哪些信息

申请人：姓名、电子邮箱或微信号、电话、出生日期、省份和城市、学历、英语水平、语言、照顾孩子的经验、驾驶和游泳情况、可开始日期以及你写的自我介绍。我们不收集护照号码、身份证号码、健康记录、照片或付款信息，也不接受未满 18 岁人士的登记。

如何使用

用于核对项目基本规定、推荐配对、与你联系；只有在你勾选分享选项后，才会把你的资料发送给持证合作机构和美国指定担保机构。我们不出售个人信息，也不用于广告。

跨境传输

你的信息存储在中国大陆境外的 Cloudflare 服务器上。根据《个人信息保护法》，我们只有在取得你的单独同意后，才会将中国大陆申请人的信息传输至境外。

保存期限

不符合项目规定的登记在上次更新 90 天后删除；已结束的登记在结束 1 年后删除；长期无进展的登记在 18 个月后删除。

你的权利

你可以随时在我的登记页面用编号和私密码查询状态、下载资料副本或删除资料。删除资料即撤回同意。
